D.C. Police Searching for Homicide Suspect Who Shot and Killed 32 Year-Old Man

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington D.C. Metro Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a homicide suspect wanted for the shooting death of a 32-year-old man that took place on February 27th. This incident happened on the 100 Block of N Street in Northwest D.C..

According to investigators, “At approximately 5:10 am, members of the Third District responded to the listed location for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, members located an adult male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. DC Fire and EMS responded to the scene and transported the victim to a local hospital where despite all life-saving efforts, the victim succumbed to his injuries.”

32 year-old Michael Whitehead, of Hyattsville, Maryland was named as the victim.

The suspect in this homicide has been identified as Darrow Johnson, 33 of Clinton, Maryland. He is wanted on a Washington DC Superior Court arrest warrant which charges him with Second Degree Murder while Armed.
