PITTSBURGH, PA – The Pittsburgh Police Department now says nine people were shot in a home rental party in the city this weekend. A ninth victim, a 17-year-old, was rushed to the hospital by other parties, not included in the original victim county, police said.

“There are nine confirmed people who suffered non-fatal gunshot wounds, not eight,” the department said today. “The ninth gunshot victim was taken to the hospital by private means. The male arrived in stable condition. As previously reported, two 17-year-old males died from their injuries.”

“Pittsburgh Police thank everyone for their cooperation in providing tips and information in this case. If you have any video or photographs to share, please upload them to the department’s Facebook page or, call the Homicide Unit at (412) 323-7161.”
