Pittsburgh Fugitive Wanted for October Murder Arrested

The Fugitive Task Force arrested Brandon West for a shooting that occurred on October 24, 2021 in Lincoln-Lemington. A male victim was walking to his residence when someone shot him one time. Medics transported him to the hospital in critical condition.

West. the suspect in that shooting was charged with Criminal Attempt Homicide, Aggravated Assault, Robbery, Carrying a Firearm Without a License, and other charges.

Officers transported West to the Allegheny County Jail.

On October 24, just after 2:30 a.m., Pittsburgh Bureau of Police Officers in Zone 5 responded to a shots fired call near the intersection of Lincoln Avenue and Lemington Avenue. A male with a gunshot would to the torso was found at the scene, and officers rendered aid.  The victim was taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
