Reading Police Seize Guns, Money, Crack During Wood Street Drug House Raid

READING, PA – A home suspected to have been used for the distribution of crack in Reading was raided on Thursday by officers of the Reading Police Department.

According to police, officers served a search warrant at 312 Wood St as a result of an investigation into the distribution of crack cocaine from that home.

“As a result of the search warrant the following items were seized; 3 handguns, 1 AK-47 style rifle, approximately 18 grams of crack cocaine and US currency,” police said. “The two residents were arrested and charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver and related charges.”

A third individual located in the apartment was arrested for an outstanding warrant from the Berks County District Attorney’s Office.

Police did not release the names of the suspects.
