San Francisco Police Investigate Buchanan Street Homicide 22-054

On Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at approximately 10:08 p.m., San Francisco Police officers from Northern Police Station responded to the 1200 block of Buchanan Street for a report of a shooting. Officers arrived on scene and located a 30-year-old male victim suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Officers rendered aid and summoned medics to the scene. The victim was transported to a local hospital where, despite life-saving efforts, he succumbed to his injuries.

This investigation is being led by the SFPD Homicide Detail.
