Lithium Battery Leads to Two Homes Being Burned Down in Brooklyn

BROOKLYN, NY – A fire that burned two residential homes on East 9th Street in Brooklyn was caused by a faulty lithium battery, according to the New York City Fire Marshals who investigated the fire. The three-alarm blaze took place at 374 East 9th Street in Brooklyn and was caused by the battery, which was in an electric scooter. Two homes were badly damaged during the blaze.
