Marlboro Police Credit K-9 Bolo After Suicidal Subject Found Unharmed

MARLBORO, NJ – The Marlboro Police Department recognized their furry officer Bolo after an incident last week involving a distressed and suicidal subject.

“Last week, the Marlboro Township Police Department was alerted to a missing suicidal subject who had fled his residence in distress,” the department said. “After a perimeter was set up by the patrol officers, our K9 handler, Ptlm. Joshua Abrahamson and his partner Bolo, responded to the scene.”

After an extensive search through the woods, lasting approximately an hour and a half, Bolo was able to guide Marlboro patrol officers to the subject’s location where he was found unharmed.

“We would like to commend Bolo and all the officers involved that helped lead this incident to a successful outcome,” the department said.
