Connecticut State Police Show Caring, Kindness and Support for Badly Burned, Hospitalized Boy

BRIDGEPORT, CT – Officers from the Connecticut State Police showed up at Bridgeport Hospital to raise the spirits of a boy who suffered serious burns to his face and body in a recent incident.

“State Police came together with law enforcement agencies, fire departments and first responders from throughout Connecticut to help lift the spirits of a 6-year-old boy recovering at Bridgeport Hospital,” the department said. “The boy suffered serious burns to his face and body in an incident that remains under investigation.”

Police said the child told them he has dreams of being a police officer when he grows up.

“Although the officers were there to cheer him up, he should know he touched the hearts of each one of them as they waved up at him and he looked down from his hospital room window. Hang in there! We all wish you a speedy recovery,” the department said.
