Man Shot In Southeast D.C., Police Search For Suspect’s Car

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department is investigating a shooting that took place on the 3200 Block of 23rd Street in Southeast D.C. This incident happened on April 29th. Police are asking for help from the public to identify a vehicle possibly involved in the shooting.

According to investigators, “At approximately 1:55 pm, members of the Seventh District responded to the listed location for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, members located an adult male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.”

An orange Dodge Challenger is described as the suspect’s vehicle. It has a black racing stripe, black wheels, and a rear spoiler. It also had an unknown paper tag.

Nearby surveillance cameras captured the vehicle.
