Pittsburgh Apartment Ransacked, Safe Stolen, Now Police Searching for These Suspects

PITTSBURGH, PA – Talk about getting caught red-handed. Police in Pittsburgh are seeking to identify three male subjects and one female who were photographed after ransacking and robbing an apartment at the Glass House Apartments in the 100 block of Station Square Drive East.

“Sometime between 12:45 p.m. and 3:45 p.m. on April 9, a fifth floor suite was broken into and the apartment was ransacked. A safe containing a significant amount of cash and five firearms were stolen. Several pieces of expensive jewelry, valuables, and paperwork are also missing,” police said. “Two of the suspects were seen on camera rolling an office chair out of the apartment building with the safe on the seat, covered with some type of blanket. They walked toward Carson Street. Police are utilizing all available video footage to determine their exact direction of flight. Detectives believe they might be cleaners who live and/or work in the Mount Washington area.”

Anyone with information is asked to call the Major Crimes Burglary Unit at (412) 323-7155.
