Police Investigating Fatal Shooting in Wilkinsburg

WILKINSBURG, PA – An adult male was shot and killed on Sunday in Wilkinsburg, the Allegheny County Police Department’s Homicide Unit reported Monday.

At approximately 9:27 pm, county 9-1-1 was notified of shots fired in the 1400 block of Franklin Avenue.

“First responders found evidence of a shooting at that location. It was learned that an adult male victim was driven to an area hospital by private vehicle where he was pronounced deceased,” police said. “Homicide detectives initiated an investigation.”
