33 Year-Old Man Shot and Killed in Southeast D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department is investigating a homicide that took place on May 5th. This incident happened on the2300 Block of Green Street in Southeast D.C.. The case is being investigated by the Homicide Branch.

According to detectives, “At approximately 9:26 am, members of the Seventh District responded to the listed location for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, members located an adult male victim, inside of a residence, suffering from gunshot wounds. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene and found that the victim displayed no signs consistent with life. The victim remained on scene until transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.”

33-year-old Treyvon Green, of Southeast, D.C. was named as the victim.
