What’s All The Buzz in Wellsville? Cops Help to Remove Large Nuisance Behive

WELLSVILLE – If you’re wondering what all the buzz was about in front of the U.S. Post Office on East Pearl Street, it was police responding to the report of a large beehive in a nearby bush.

According to the Wellsville Police Department, about 15,000-20,000 bees were living in a hive in a bush in front of the Post Office on East Pearl Street. Police called in a friend, Oakley Sortore, to help remove the bees from the area making it safe again for our community.

The bees were transferred to an enclosure and safely relocated to a place they can live without being a nuisance to humans.
