16 Year-Old Arrested And Charged in Shooting Death of 15 Year-Old in D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department have made an arrest in the homicide that took place on the 3000 Block of 13th Street in Northwest, D.C. This incident happened on April 11th.

According to investigators, “At approximately 10:50 pm, members of the Third District responded to the listed location for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, the members located a juvenile male victim suffering from gunshot wounds. DC Fire and EMS responded to the scene and found that the victim displayed no signs consistent with life. The victim remained on scene until transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.”

15-year-old Malachi Jackson, of Northwest, D.C. was named as the victim.

A 16-year-old juvenile male, of Northwest, DC was arrested by the Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force on May 10th.  He was brought to the Homicide Branch where he was charged with First Degree Murder while Armed.
