Police Hoping Release of Surveillance Video Can Help Solve 2021 Murder

PHILADELPHIA, PA – The Philadelphia Police Department has released surveillance video of a suspect wanted for a murder in 2021.

The Philadelphia Police Department Homicide Unit is looking to identify the individual, depicted in the following surveillance video excerpts, as part of an ongoing investigation into the Homicide by shooting of a 38-year-old male, that occurred on Sunday, May 30th, 2021, at about 2:25 AM, in the 1000 block of W. Olney Avenue,” the department said, hoping the public can assist them with their investigation. “The male was last observed fleeing on foot northbound on 10th Street from Olney Avenue after the incident.”

The department said a $20,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
