46 Year-Old Arrested in Assault and Attempted Stabbing in D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department has made an arrest in an attempted stabbing that took place on March 13th. This incident happened on the 2800 Block of Wisconsin Avenue in Northwest, D.C.. The MPD Second District is investigating this case.

According to police, “At approximately 6:28pm, the suspect approached the victims at the listed location and assaulted one of the victims. During the assault, the suspect brandished a knife and attempted to stab one of the victims. The suspect was apprehended by responding officers.”

46 year-old Steven Rushing, of Fort Worth, TX, was arrested on May 13th and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon and Simple Assault.
