Philadelphia Armed Robbers Take off with Cigarettes and Cash

Philadelphia, PA – Two men who motioned they were carrying a gun during an armed robbery in Philadelphia made off with cash and cigarettes, police said.

On April 28, 2022, at approximately 1:08 am, the 2nd District responded to a robbery in progress at 1435 Cottman Ave, 7-Eleven. The employee stated that the suspects entered the store and motioned to their waistband area and announced a robbery. The suspects then went behind the counter and took money and several packs of cigarettes then fled and were last seen north on Pennway St.
