Baltimore Police Make Arrest in Shooting Death of 39 Year-Old Man

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – The Baltimore Police Department have made an arrest in a Homicide that took place on May 9th. This incident happened on the 3000 Block of East Preston Street in Eastern Baltimore.

39-year-old Kennod Taylor was named as the victim.

According to police, “At approximately 9:43 p.m., Eastern District officers responded to the 3000 Block of E. Preston Street in reference to a Shot Spotter alert. Once there, officers located an unidentified male suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to Johns Hopkins Hospital and pronounced deceased by medical personnel.”

Detectives have arrested 35-year-old Myron Watson of Baltimore. Watson was transported to Central Booking Intake Facility where he has been charged with 1st and 2nd degree murder,1st and 2nd degree assault and multiple handgun violations.

The police believe that Watson shot Taylor after an argument.
