Glen Burnie Restaurant Robbed at Gunpoint

GLEN BURNIE, MD – An armed robber entered The Treat restaurant in Glen Burnie on Friday demanding money from an employee.

According to police, at approximately 11:30 p.m., officers responded to a commercial robbery at the Treat restaurant located at 12 Aquahart Road in Glen Burnie.

“An unknown male entered the store, displayed a handgun, and demanded cash from the employee. The suspect fled toward Crain Highway. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate any suspects. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident,” the Anne Arundel Police Department said.

The suspect is described as a black male, 20-30 years of age, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black face mask, and black pants.
