Newberry Police Find Walmart Shooter

ETTERS, PA- The Newberry Police Department responded to multiple 911 calls of a shooting at the Walmart on Newberry Parkway on Sunday afternoon. An officer arrived first on the scene, less than a minute from being dispatched.

Shortly after other units arrived, they entered the store. The officers found Pedro Rosado-Fernandez, who was identified to be the suspect. He was taken into custody and his 9mm handgun was secured. “Officers then located the male gunshot victim near the rear of the store, where bystanders were providing medical aid,” investigators said. “The victim was escorted out of the store and transferred to the care of EMS for treatment and transport to a trauma facility. The victim suffered a single gunshot wound to the arm.”
