16 Year-Old Arrested For Murdering Southeast D.C. Man

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department has made an arrest in the homicide of 31-year-old Anwar Christian of Southeast, D.C. This incident happened on May 13th, 2021 on the 200 Block of 37th Place in Southeast, D.C.

According to police, “At approximately 11:34 am, members of the Sixth District responded to the listed location for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, members located four adult male victims suffering from gunshot wounds. DC Fire and EMS responded to the scene and transported the victims to local hospitals for treatment.”

On Tuesday, June 29, 2021, Anwar Christian succumbed to his injuries on June 29th, 2021

A 16-year-old juvenile male, of Southeast, DC was arrested on May 26th and charged with First Degree Murder While Armed.
