Akron, OH – Police are searching for two masked men who robbed the U.S. Bank on South Canton Road. Police say the men entered the bank and passed a note demanding money to the teller. The men eluded that they were armed by keeping their hands in their pockets during the robbery.

The suspects ran out of the bank and got into a waiting vehicle; a dark gray Lincoln Nautilus with tinted windows, driven by a third unidentified suspect. The suspects concealed the rear license plate with a black bag.

The suspect vehicle fled northbound on Canton Road with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspects are described as black males. Officers from the Akron Police Department, along with agents from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) converged on the bank and processed the scene.
