11 Shots Fired, 2 Hit, and One Dead in Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH, PA – Police in Pittsburgh are investigating a shooting that happened early this morning. Police said officers and medics responded to a ShotSpotter alert for 11 shots fired in the 7700 block of Frankstown Ave. just before 1 a.m. Responding units located 2 gunshot victims. A male was pronounced deceased at the scene. A second female victim was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

The investigation is ongoing.
