Bronx Rapist Waited for His Victim, Police Say

NEW YORK, NY – A woman left her Bronx home and unsuspectingly walked into a trap of a man waiting for her outside her door with a knife. The man brought the 38-year-old woman to St. Mary’s Park where he proceed to rape her.

According to police, the attack happened on Tuesday in the Bronx near Beech Terrace and Beekman Avenue.

The man stole the woman’s credit card and made a $3 purchase with it at a nearby deli. The woman was treated at the hospital and is in stable condition.
