NEW YORK, NY – A black woman assaulted a 65-year-old Asian male on a southbound A train in Brooklyn on Saturday. Police said the woman shouted ant-Asian slurs at the man before biting him on the train at around 5:20 pm.

The man suffered a bite mark on the back and scratches on his arms from the assault. He was taken to the Interfaith Medical Center and treated where he was last listed in stable condition. The incident is being investigated as a hate crime.
