NYPD Searching for Suspect Who Stabbed a 31-Year-Old Gay Man on Subway Train, Shouted Homophobic Slurs

NEW YORK, NY – A homosexual man was targeted by a suspect on New York City subway train in the Bronx on Tuesday. The incident happened at around 1 am on the 2 train as it was heading toward the 3rd Avenue and 149th Street station. Police say the suspect stabbed the 31-year-old ma after shouting homophobic slurs at the man. The incident is being treated by the department as a bias crime.
