Woman Shot Sunday Morning in Columbus

COLUMBUS, OH- The Columbus Police Department is investigating a shooting that took place on Sunday morning. Officers responded to shots fired at the 1200 block of Steelwood Road.

The victim was found at the scene, suffering from a gunshot wound to her left shoulder.

“The victim stated she was in her vehicle attempting to leave when the suspect pulled up in front of her in a black sedan, blocking her path,” according to police. “The suspect then fired one gunshot at her while seated in her black sedan. The gunshot went through the front windshield striking the victim in the left shoulder”.
