Traffic Incident on I-270 Leads to Shots Fired

COLUMBUS, OH- Columbus Police officer responded to reports of a person with a gun in the area of I270 southbound and the area of Easton Way Sunday morning.

Officers made contact with the victim, who was traveling southbound on I-270 where they observed the suspect was driving erratically. They then honked, upsetting the suspect.

“The victim stated the suspect then passed him, pulled out a black handgun, and fired one shot,” investigators said. “It is undetermined at this time if the suspect was shooting at the victim or shooting in the air.”
