53-Year-Old Woman Dragged By Car for Several Blocks

COLUMBUS, OH- Columbus Police officers responded to the area of Brehl and Sullivant on reports of a hit-and-run accident early this morning. When officers arrived, they suspected that the perpetrator had struck the victim with her car, then dragged her for several blocks.

“The responding officers finally located the victim, severely injured, in an alley just west of Union Avenue,” investigators said. “Medics transported the victim to a local area hospital in critical condition. After speaking to witnesses, it was determined that this incident was intentional.”

The witness stated that before hitting the victim with her car, the suspect was in a loud verbal argument with the victim. The incident began in the parking lot of a local corner store.
