31 Year-Old Man Shot, Found Slumped Over By Off Duty Sergeant

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a shooting which has left a man in critical condition. This incident happened in the early hours this morning.

According to police, “At approximately 1:43 a.m., an off duty Baltimore Police Sergeant was driving in the 2700 block of West Belvedere Avenue when he observed a 31-year-old male slumped over in the street. That Sergeant immediately exited his personal vehicle, called for additional units and rendered aid to the victim that informed the Sergeant that he had been shot. Medics responded to the location and transported the victim to an area hospital where he was last listed in critical condition.

Initial investigation showed that the man was shot on the 3100 Block of Spaulding Avenue. He fled to the 2700 Block of West Belvedere where he was discovered by the off duty Sergeant.
