14-Year-Old Stabbed to Death in Columbus

COLUMBUS, OH- The Columbus Police Department is investigating the murder of 14-year-old Martaires Taylor. Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of North Ogden Ave on a report of a stabbing. The incident occurred Tuesday night.

Medics arrived at the scene and transported Taylor to Nationwide Children’s Hospital in critical condition. He was pronounced deceased at 12:10 AM on Wednesday.

“This all stems from an ongoing dispute involving a group of juveniles,” according to police. “Taylor was one of the juveniles involved in this dispute. Taylor was confronting one, or more, individuals who were also involved in the dispute when the stabbing occurred”.
