30 Year-Old Man Shot To Death In Northeast, D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department is investigating the shooting death of a 30 year-old man which took place yesterday morning on the 3900 block of Minnesota Avenue in Northeast, D.C..

According to investigators, “At approximately 11:44 am, members of the Sixth District responded to the listed location for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, the members located an adult male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene and discovered the victim displayed no signs consistent with life. The victim was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.”

 30 year-old Israel Mattocks of Southeast, D.C. was identified as the victim.
