Second Victim Found Shot In The Head In Southwest Baltimore in The Last 24 Hours

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a shooting that left one man critically injured shortly before 10pm last night. This incident happened on the Unit Block of Beechfield Avenue, not far from another shooting that took place last night on the 3500 block of West Caton Avenue in Southwest Baltimore. Police have not determined if the two shootings were related. Both victims were shot in the head.

According to police, “At approximately 9:52 p.m., officers responded to the unit block of Beechfield Avenue for a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located an unknown male who had been shot in the head. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he is in critical condition. Due to the seriousness of the victim’s injury, homicide detectives were summoned.”
