Two Shot 16 Year-Old Killed in Southeast D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department is investigating a double shooting that left a 16 year-old dead in Southeast, D.C. . This incident took place on June 15th on the 4600 block of Hillside Road in Southeast, D.C..

According to investigators, “At approximately 8:37 pm, members of the Sixth District responded to the listed location for the sounds of gunshots. Upon arrival, the members located two adult male victims suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene and transported the victims to area hospitals. After all life-saving efforts failed, the first victim was pronounced dead. The second victim was treated for non-life threatening injuries.”

The victim has been identified as 16 year-old Deandre Coleman of Southeast, D.C.
