Woman Shot Overnight in Baltimore’s Coppin Heights Neighborhood

BALTIMORE, MD – A 25-year-old woman was shot early Sunday morning in Baltimore’s Coppin Heights neighborhood, police reported today.

At approximately 12:34 a.m., Western District patrol officers were called to the 600 block of North Dukeland Street for a report of a shooting.

“Once there, officers located a 25-year-old female suffering from an apparent gunshot wound,” the Baltimore Police Department reported. “The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.”

Police said that the victim was involved in a dispute with a group of females when an unidentified suspect shot into the ground, hitting the victim.
