D.C. Woman Arrested After Brandishing Handgun During Dispute

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department has made an arrest in a “assault with a dangerous weapon” incident that took place on Thursday. This incident happened on the 4300 block of Connecticut Avenue in Northwest, D.C.

According to investigators, “At approximately 12:45 pm, the victim and the suspect were involved in an argument at the listed location. During the argument the suspect brandished a handgun and threatened the victim. The suspect fled the scene. No injuries were reported. A BB-gun was recovered from the suspect.”

44 year-old Kaleema Young, of Southeast, D.C. was arrested on June 16th and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon.
