Man Slashed in Lower Manhattan Subway Station

NEW YORK, NY – The New York City Police Department is searching for a subway slasher in lower Manhattan today. On Monday, a 29-year-old man was attacked and slashed inside the Bowling Green Subway Station near the 4/5 line.

According to the NYPD, the suspect approached the man, spit, and punched him before slashing him. The man suffered a laceration to his arm. Police say the slashing suspect shouted profanities at his victim. The attack occurred just after 4 am.
