Woman Shot in Fistfight in Columbus

COLUMBUS, OH- The Columbus Police Department is investigating a shooting that took place Monday evening. Patrol Officers were dispatched to the area of the 1100 block of Linwood Avenue on a report of a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers found the 32-year-old victim was found in the grass nearby, suffering an apparent gunshot wound.

The victim told officers that “she was shot by an unknown black female after she got into a fistfight with an unknown dark-skinned male black with long dreads.”

She was transported to Grant Medical Center in stable condition. She is expected to recover from her injuries.
