Man Charged After Steaking Computers, Electronic Devices from Harrisburg School

HARRISBURG, PA – Police in Harrisburg have charged 23-year-old Daniel Weir who admitted taking computer equipment from a Harrisburg school district building.

The Harrisburg Bureau of Police initiated an investigation after receiving a report of theft from the Harrisburg School District.  

“The suspect in this case, Daniel Weir, 23 years old, was interviewed and admitted to taking several pieces of electronic, and computer equipment from the Harrisburg School District Annex,” police reported. “The items, valued at over $2,000, were found to be in Weir’s possession illegally. They were all recovered. Weir was arrested and charged with Felony Theft by Unlawful Taking.”

Weir was transported to The Dauphin County Booking Facility for processing and arraignment.
