A 10-year-old North Bellport Girl Has Gone Missing and Police Are Asking For Help Finding Her

NORTH BELLPORT, NY – A 10-year-old girl from North Bellboart is missing and police are now asking the public’s assistance in locating her.

According to the Suffolk County Police Department, detectives are seeking the public’s help to locate a 10-year-old North Bellport girl who was reported missing this morning.

“Iyanna Farris was last seen leaving her residence, located at 621 Americus Ave., at approximately 10:30 a.m. when she got into a ride-share vehicle,” the Suffolk County Police Department reported. “Farris was dropped off in the vicinity of West Columbia Street in Hempstead at approximately 11:50 a.m. She was reported missing by a family member at approximately 1:45 p.m. and is possibly attempting to leave New York State and travel to Georgia.”
Farris, 10, is Black-Hispanic, 5-feet tall, 76 pounds and has brown eyes and brownish-blonde hair. She is possibly in need of medication.

Detectives are asking anyone with information on her location to call 911 or Fifth Squad Detectives at 631-854-8552.
