Donut Rage: Customer Attacks Dunkin Employee, Rushes Store With Large Piece of Lumber

NEWARK, NJ – Police in Newark reported an incident of donut rage after a man assaulted a drive through window attendant at the Dunkin Donuts located at 802 South Orange Avenue last Wednesday. He then attacked the building with a large piece of lumber, shattering a window.

Newark Public Safety Director Brian A. O’Hara requests the public’s help in identifying the below-pictured male suspect in connection with an incident of criminal mischief after police responded to Dunkin Donuts, located at 802 South Orange Avenue, on a call of a man throwing objects at the attendant in the drive-thru window.

“The suspect also drove around to the store’s front entrance and hit its window with a wooden object, causing the window to shatter,” police said.

Detectives investigating this incident seek the public’s help in identifying the suspect, described as a Black male with dreadlocs, covered with a spandex cap. He was wearing black and white Adidas track pants, a black t-shirt, and black shoes. The suspect was driving a black SUV.
