Unsuccessful Burglar Caught on Camera Failing to Open Cash Register

PHILADELPHIA, PA – An unsuccessful burglar inside a Philadelphia business came up shortchanged on his take, but won’t be shortchanged by the law.

Philadelphia’s Central Detective Division is seeking the public’s help identifying the individual seen in the following still photo and video clip.

On June 30, 2022, at 3:10 am, an unknown black male entered Riverwards Produce located at 146 Bread St through a window. Once inside he tried to open the cash register but was unsuccessful. The suspect took an unknown amount of loose change and left the store in an Uknown direction.
