Hudson County Teacher Pleads Guilty To Sexually Assaulting Two Students

UNION CITY, NJ – A former Union Hill High School teacher is going to jail after pleading guilty to charges that he sexually assaulted two girls while employed there and also at Dickinson High School

On Thursday, Francisco “Mike” Realpe, 45, of Hoboken, pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting two female students while employed as a teacher in Union City and Jersey City. In addition to his guilty plea, he will be placed under the jurisdiction of Megan’s Law and require lifetime parole supervision. Realpe has also forfeited his right to public employment and has had permanent restraining orders put in place to protect his victims.

“The first victim report being sexually assaulted in November 2019 while Realpe was a teacher at Dickinson High School in Jersey City. Shortly after Realpe’s arrest, the second victim reported being sexually assaulted in 2004 while a student at Union Hill High School in Union City. Both victims were 17 at the time of the assaults,” the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office said.
