52 Year-Old Man Shot in Central Baltimore

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a shooting that left a 53 year-old man shot in the leg on July 2nd. This incident happened on the 600 block of North Eutaw Place in Central Baltimore.

According to investigators, “At approximately 6:45 p.m., an off-duty BPD officer was driving in the area of the 600 block of North Eutaw Place, when the officer observed a suspect shoot at a victim. The officer called for assistance and gave chase and the suspect was apprehended a short time later by Central district patrol officers without incident. Central district officers located a 52-year-old male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the leg in the 600 block of Eutaw Place. The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Central District Shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control over the investigation. “
