32 Year-Old Man Dead in D.C. Shooting

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Metro Police Department in Washington, D.C. is investigating a homicide that happened shortly after midnight yesterday morning. This incident took place on the 100 block of Yuma Street in Southeast, D.C.

According to police, “At approximately 12:25 am, members of the Seventh District responded to the listed location for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, the members located an adult male victim, inside of a residence, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene and after finding no signs consistent with life, the victim was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.”

32 year-old Devin Denny was identified as the victim.
