Mega Millions Ticket Worth $1 Million Sold In Delaware County

MIDDLETOWN, PENNSYLVANIA – One lucky Delaware County retailer sold a winning Mega Millions ticket worth $1 million for the July 1st drawing.

The lucky ticket matched all five white balls drawn, but not the yellow Mega Ball 12, to win $1 million minus applicable withholding.

The winning numbers were: 1-27-29-38-62,

Travers Food Market on Shadeland Avenue in Lansdowne sold the ticket and will receive a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

According to lottery officials, “Winners are not known until prizes are claimed and tickets are validated. Pennsylvania Lottery Mega Millions® winners have one year from the drawing date to claim prizes. Winning tickets purchased at a Lottery retailer should immediately be signed on the back.
