Greenbelt Delivery Driver Carjacked at Gunpoint, Second Carjacking Reported

GREENBELT CITY, MD – A Greenbelt City delivery driver was carjacked at gunpoint by a ground of men wearing facemasks while making a delivery. Later, a second person was carjacked by suspects matching the description of the previous attack.

According to police, on Wednesday, officers responded to the 7800 block of Hanover Parkway at around 10 pm.

“Delivery food driver carjacked by four males wearing all black and black face masks armed with a handgun. The victim’s blue Toyota Corolla bearing MD tag 2DY8632 was taken,” police reported.


Less than an hour later, a second carjacking was reported this time on the 100 block of Westway.

“Victim approached by two males wearing all black and black facemasks armed with handguns. The suspects fled in the victim’s vehicle and another unknown vehicle. The victim’s vehicle was later recovered by GPD officers in the unit block of Centerway at 2217 hours,” police reported.

The suspects remain at-large.
