18-Year-Old Charged with Attempted Murder for April Shooting in Baltimore

BALTIMORE, MD – An 18-year-old male has been arrested and charged for non-fatal shooting that took place on April 23rd in Baltimore. Michael Simms, 18, of Glad Court was arrested for shooting a 27-year-ol man during a dispute on 6th Street.

On April 23, at approximately 4:16 a.m., Southern District patrol officers responded to the 4100 block of 6th Street for a shooting Investigation. Once at the location, officers located a 27-year-old male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the right arm.

The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. He survived the shooting.
