$2 Million Top Prize Won in Columbus

COLUMBUS, OH – Denise Damron of Columbus is the winner of the $2,000,000 Mega Cash scratch-off top prize. She chose the cash-out option of $1,000,000.

Damron will receive $720,000 after mandatory state and federal tax totaling 28 percent.

Her ticket was purchased at Alum Creek Duchess, located at 3909 Alum Creek Drive in Obetz.

According to lottery officials, “Mega Cash is a $20 scratch-off with a top prize of $80,000 a year for 25 years. As of July 6, 2022, there are three top prizes remaining in the game.”
