ALEXANDRIA, VA. – One person was shot overnight in Alexandria on Thursday and rushed to the hospital with gunshot wounds to his lower body. The Alexandria Police Department is investigating a shooting incident that occurred Thursday evening.
According to police, the initial call for service was received at approximately 9:11 p.m. on July 7, 2022, for shots fired in the 800 block of North Patrick Street.
During the incident, one male sustained non-life-threatening injuries to his lower body and later was transported to the hospital.
